Brandy And Rum Mint Julep
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 heaping teaspoon sugar
- 3-4 sprigs fresh mint
- 1 jigger brandy
- 2 dashes Jamaica rum
- Ice
- Fresh mint sprigs for garnish
Method
- 1 In a small glass, combine water and sugar. Add mint sprigs and muddle until mint flavor is extracted.
- 2 Remove mint sprigs and pour the flavored water into a tall glass or goblet filled with fine ice.
- 3 Add brandy and Jamaica rum to the glass. Stir well to combine and chill.
- 4 Garnish with fresh mint sprigs placed in the ice around the rim. Serve immediately.
