Brandy And Catawba Wine Punch

Ingredients

  • 1¼ pints lemon juice
  • 2 pints gum syrup
  • ¾ pint orange juice
  • 1¼ pints brandy
  • 6 quarts equal parts sweet and dry Catawba wine
  • 2 quarts carbonated water
  • Ice
  • Fruit for garnish

Method

  1. 1 Pour lemon juice, gum syrup, orange juice, and brandy into a large punch bowl.
  2. 2 Add the Catawba wine and carbonated water.
  3. 3 Stir well and place a large block of ice in the center of the bowl.
  4. 4 Garnish the ice with fruit and serve with a ladle into punch glasses.
