Brandied Peaches
Ingredients
- 1 lb peaches
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ pint water
- ½ pint brandy
Method
- 1 Blanch peaches in boiling water to remove skins.
- 2 Boil sugar and water to make syrup. Add peaches and cook until tender but firm.
- 3 Cool peaches on platters, then place in jars.
- 4 Mix brandy into the hot syrup and pour over peaches. Seal jars while hot.
