Brandied Peaches

Ingredients

  • 1 lb peaches
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ pint water
  • ½ pint brandy

Method

  1. 1 Blanch peaches in boiling water to remove skins.
  2. 2 Boil sugar and water to make syrup. Add peaches and cook until tender but firm.
  3. 3 Cool peaches on platters, then place in jars.
  4. 4 Mix brandy into the hot syrup and pour over peaches. Seal jars while hot.
