Braised Pork Neck Chops With Gravy
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs neck chops, cut into 4 pieces
- Flour for coating
- Hot fat for frying
- 1 cup finely chopped onions
- 4 tbsp finely chopped parsley
- 1.5 cups brown gravy
Method
- 1 Wipe chops with a damp cloth, roll in flour, and brown quickly in hot fat.
- 2 Transfer chops to a casserole dish. Add chopped onions and parsley.
- 3 Make gravy by adding 4 tbsp flour to the fat left in the pan. Pour over chops.
- 4 Cover tightly and bake in a slow oven (300°F) for 1.5 hours.
