Braised Onions In Gravy
Ingredients
- 2 lbs onions
- 2 oz butter, vegetable butter, or oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method
- 1 Peel and slice the onions.
- 2 Fry the onions in butter until nicely browned.
- 3 Add enough water to create a gravy, then season with salt and pepper.
- 4 Stew the onions for 20 minutes until tender.
