Braised Lamb Shoulder With Onions

Ingredients

  • 1 lamb shoulder, cut into small pieces
  • 2 small onions, chopped
  • 2 tbsp butter, divided
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup soup stock or water with bouillon cubes

Method

  1. 1 Chop the onions and brown them in a piece of butter in a large skillet.
  2. 2 Add the lamb pieces, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook until the meat begins to brown.
  3. 3 Add the remaining butter mixed with flour to thicken the sauce.
  4. 4 Pour in soup stock or water with bouillon cubes little by little and simmer until the lamb is tender.
