Braised Lamb Shoulder With Onions
Ingredients
- 1 lamb shoulder, cut into small pieces
- 2 small onions, chopped
- 2 tbsp butter, divided
- 1 tbsp flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup soup stock or water with bouillon cubes
Method
- 1 Chop the onions and brown them in a piece of butter in a large skillet.
- 2 Add the lamb pieces, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook until the meat begins to brown.
- 3 Add the remaining butter mixed with flour to thicken the sauce.
- 4 Pour in soup stock or water with bouillon cubes little by little and simmer until the lamb is tender.
