  • 2 1/2 pounds boneless beef chuck roast
  • 2 cups hot water
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 1 tablespoon orange juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Method

  1. 1 Dissolve the bouillon cube in 2 cups of hot water to make beef broth.
  2. 2 In a small bowl, stir together the broth, orange juice, allspice, and pepper.
  3. 3 Chop the onion to yield 1/2 cup.
  4. 4 Heat 2 tablespoons of water in a skillet over medium heat.
