Bosnian Beef And Vegetable Stew
Ingredients
- 2 1/4 pounds beef, cubed
- 1 head cabbage
- 2-3 carrots
- 2 large tomatoes
- 2 large potatoes
- 2 medium onions
- 2 garlic cloves, sliced
- 1 green pepper
- 1/2 tablespoon cooking oil
- 1/2 tablespoon vinegar
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- 1 Dice all the vegetables.
- 2 Combine the meat, vegetables, and seasonings in a large pot.
- 3 Add enough water to completely cover the mixture, along with the oil and vinegar.
- 4 Cook, covered, for two to three hours on low heat until everything is well done.
