Boiling Water Cornmeal Drop Biscuits
Ingredients
- 2 cups boiling water
- 2 cups cornmeal
- 1 pinch salt
- Butter for greasing pan
Method
- 1 Pour boiling water over cornmeal and salt, mixing well.
- 2 Drop spoonfuls of the mixture into a well-buttered shallow pan.
- 3 Dot with butter and bake until crisp and brown, or cook on a griddle.
