Boiled White Cauliflower With Saffron

Ingredients

  • 1 head white cauliflower, trimmed and cleaned
  • Water
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Saffron (optional, for color)

Method

  1. 1 Trim the cauliflower stems and clean thoroughly, removing all leaves. Cut the tender tops.
  2. 2 Bring a pot of water with olive oil to a boil. Add the cauliflower pieces.
  3. 3 Boil until tender. Optionally add olive oil, meat broth, pepper, spice powder, beaten eggs, or saffron for color before serving.
