Boiled White Cauliflower With Saffron
Ingredients
- 1 head white cauliflower, trimmed and cleaned
- Water
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Saffron (optional, for color)
Method
- 1 Trim the cauliflower stems and clean thoroughly, removing all leaves. Cut the tender tops.
- 2 Bring a pot of water with olive oil to a boil. Add the cauliflower pieces.
- 3 Boil until tender. Optionally add olive oil, meat broth, pepper, spice powder, beaten eggs, or saffron for color before serving.
