Ingredients

  • 1 bunch spinach
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 tablespoons butter, creamed
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs, sliced

Method

  1. 1 Wash spinach thoroughly and place in cold water. Bring to a boil.
  2. 2 Add baking soda and boil for 5 minutes. Drain in a colander and rinse with cold water.
  3. 3 Squeeze out excess water using a spoon, then chop the spinach very finely.
