Boiled Spaghetti With Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 lb spaghetti
  • 1 tin tomatoes, strained
  • 1 oz butter
  • 1 pint water
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Grated cheese for serving

Method

  1. 1 Mix the strained tomato juice with 1 pint of water and bring to a boil.
  2. 2 Add the spaghetti to the boiling liquid, keeping it at a fast boil.
  3. 3 Add the butter, salt, and pepper. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes until tender.
  4. 4 Serve very hot with grated cheese on top.
