Boiled Rice Pudding
Ingredients
- 1 lb rice
- 1 quart milk or water
- 3 tablespoons moist sugar
Method
- 1 Wash the rice well.
- 2 Combine rice, sugar, and milk (or water) in a large saucepan.
- 3 Boil gently for about one hour.
- 4 Press the cooked rice into cups.
- 5 Turn out onto a dish and serve with jam, treacle, butter, sugar, or sweet sauce.
