Boiled Rice And Apple Pudding
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb Patna rice
- 1/4 lb sultanas
- 2 apples, peeled, cored, and chopped
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- Sugar to taste
Method
- 1 Wash the rice and mix it with the sultanas, chopped apples, cinnamon, and sugar.
- 2 Tie the mixture securely in a cloth, leaving plenty of room for the rice to swell.
- 3 Boil the pudding sharply in plenty of boiling water for 1 hour and 30 minutes, or until the rice is soft.
