Boiled Rice And Apple Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb Patna rice
  • 1/4 lb sultanas
  • 2 apples, peeled, cored, and chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Sugar to taste

Method

  1. 1 Wash the rice and mix it with the sultanas, chopped apples, cinnamon, and sugar.
  2. 2 Tie the mixture securely in a cloth, leaving plenty of room for the rice to swell.
  3. 3 Boil the pudding sharply in plenty of boiling water for 1 hour and 30 minutes, or until the rice is soft.
