Boiled Plaice With Lemon Butter Sauce

- Water
- Salt
- Lemon peel
- Sippets (croutons)
- Lemon slices
- Barberries
- Butter
- Lemon juice
- Nutmeg
Method
- 1 Clean and wash the plaice thoroughly.
- 2 Bring a pot of water with salt and lemon peel to a boil. Add the plaice and cook quickly until done.
- 3 Place the fish on toasted bread slices (sippets) and garnish with lemon slices and barberries.
- 4 Beat butter thickly with lemon juice and grated nutmeg. Pour the hot sauce over the fish and serve immediately.
