Boiled Onion Sauce With Butter
Ingredients
- Onions
- Salt and water
- Melted butter
Method
- 1 Trim onion strings and tops, leaving skins on. Soak in salted water for 1 hour.
- 2 Rinse onions, then boil in plenty of water until tender.
- 3 Peel skins off boiled onions and pass the pulp through a colander.
- 4 Mix the onion pulp with melted butter. Serve warm.
