Boiled Lobster
Ingredients
- 1 lobster
- Water (enough to cover lobster)
- 1 tablespoon salt
Method
- 1 Fill a kettle with enough water to cover the lobster. Heat until warm but not boiling.
- 2 Hold the lobster by the back and place it head-first into the warm water to humanely kill it.
- 3 Cover the pot and bring to a boil. Add 1 tablespoon of salt.
- 4 Boil for exactly 30 minutes. Do not overcook or the meat will become tough and stringy.
