Boiled Kohlrabi With Butter
Ingredients
- 1 kohlrabi bulb
- 1 quart water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Melted butter
- Pepper
- Cream sauce (optional)
Method
- 1 Peel the kohlrabi bulb and cut it into small pieces.
- 2 Place the pieces in a pot with boiling water and 1 teaspoon salt per quart of water.
- 3 Boil until tender, about 30 to 35 minutes.
- 4 Drain and serve plain with melted butter and pepper, or with cream sauce.
