Boiled Kohlrabi With Butter

Ingredients

  • 1 kohlrabi bulb
  • 1 quart water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Melted butter
  • Pepper
  • Cream sauce (optional)

Method

  1. 1 Peel the kohlrabi bulb and cut it into small pieces.
  2. 2 Place the pieces in a pot with boiling water and 1 teaspoon salt per quart of water.
  3. 3 Boil until tender, about 30 to 35 minutes.
  4. 4 Drain and serve plain with melted butter and pepper, or with cream sauce.
