Boiled Grits With Cream And Sugar
Ingredients
- 1 cup well-washed grits
- 2 cups boiling water
- Milk (optional, for thinning)
- Cream and sugar (for serving)
Method
- 1 Slowly add 1 cup of well-washed grits to 2 cups of boiling water.
- 2 Boil the mixture for one hour, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
- 3 If the grits are too thick, thin them with a little milk.
- 4 Serve hot or cold, topped with cream and sugar.
