  • 3 egg yolks
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • salt to taste
  • nutmeg to taste

Method

  1. 1 Cream 3 tbsp butter with 3 egg yolks until well combined.
  2. 2 Stir in 3 tbsp flour, a pinch of salt, and freshly grated nutmeg to form a thick batter.
  3. 3 Drop spoonfuls of the batter into boiling water.
  4. 4 Boil for 4-5 minutes until cooked through, then drain and serve.
