Boiled Egg Yolk Dumplings
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp flour
- 3 egg yolks
- 3 tbsp butter
- salt to taste
- nutmeg to taste
Method
- 1 Cream 3 tbsp butter with 3 egg yolks until well combined.
- 2 Stir in 3 tbsp flour, a pinch of salt, and freshly grated nutmeg to form a thick batter.
- 3 Drop spoonfuls of the batter into boiling water.
- 4 Boil for 4-5 minutes until cooked through, then drain and serve.
