Boiled Cream Pudding
Ingredients
- 1 pint heavy cream or milk
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 4 egg yolks
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Method
- 1 Combine cream, flour, egg yolks, sugar, butter, vanilla, and salt in a saucepan.
- 2 Stir constantly over medium heat until the mixture comes to a boil.
- 3 Remove from heat and allow to cool completely before serving.
