Boiled Cream Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 pint heavy cream or milk
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Method

  1. 1 Combine cream, flour, egg yolks, sugar, butter, vanilla, and salt in a saucepan.
  2. 2 Stir constantly over medium heat until the mixture comes to a boil.
  3. 3 Remove from heat and allow to cool completely before serving.
