Boiled Cod With Carrots And Turnip
Ingredients
- 1 piece cod or hake
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 1 turnip, chopped
- 1 oz butter
- 3/4 cup boiling water
- salt to taste
- fresh herbs
Method
- 1 Boil the cod or hake until cooked, then flake the fish into pieces.
- 2 Chop the carrots and turnip, then boil gently until half-cooked.
- 3 Drain the vegetables and place them in a stewpan with butter, boiling water, salt, and herbs.
- 4 Add the flaked fish to the stewpan and cook until everything is well heated through.
- 5 Serve immediately.
