Boiled Chocolate Molasses Taffy
Ingredients
- 1/2 pound chocolate, cut fine
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups molasses
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 piece of butter the size of an egg
- flavoring
Method
- 1 Combine chocolate, sugar, molasses, milk, and butter in a pot.
- 2 Boil the mixture for twenty minutes.
- 3 Cool the taffy slightly and mark it off into squares just before it hardens completely.
