Boiled Cauliflower

Ingredients

  • 1 cauliflower, trimmed
  • Salt for soaking
  • Water for boiling
  • 1 handful salt

Method

  1. 1 Trim off outside leaves and cut the stalk flat at the bottom. Soak the cauliflower in salted water for one hour.
  2. 2 Place the cauliflower in a pot of boiling water with a handful of salt. Skim the water well.
  3. 3 Boil slowly until tender, about 15-20 minutes depending on size. Remove immediately once done to avoid overcooking.
