Boiled Cauliflower
Ingredients
- 1 cauliflower, trimmed
- Salt for soaking
- Water for boiling
- 1 handful salt
Method
- 1 Trim off outside leaves and cut the stalk flat at the bottom. Soak the cauliflower in salted water for one hour.
- 2 Place the cauliflower in a pot of boiling water with a handful of salt. Skim the water well.
- 3 Boil slowly until tender, about 15-20 minutes depending on size. Remove immediately once done to avoid overcooking.
