Boiled Buttered Carrots
Ingredients
- 3 cups diced carrots
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt (for cooking water)
Method
- 1 Wash, scrape, and dice carrots into half-inch pieces.
- 2 Boil carrots in salted water (1 tsp salt per quart) until tender, then drain.
- 3 Add butter, salt, and pepper; heat until butter melts and serve.
