Boiled Asparagus With Hollandaise Sauce
Ingredients
- asparagus spears
- salt
- Hollandaise sauce or cream sauce
Method
- 1 Scrape and wash asparagus spears. Cut stalks to the same length and tie into bunches.
- 2 Place asparagus in a pot of boiling water. Add a little salt when nearly done.
- 3 Boil until perfectly tender. Drain and transfer to a serving dish.
- 4 Remove any tough strings from the stalks. Serve very hot with Hollandaise or cream sauce.
