Boiled Asparagus With Hollandaise Sauce

Ingredients

  • asparagus spears
  • salt
  • Hollandaise sauce or cream sauce

Method

  1. 1 Scrape and wash asparagus spears. Cut stalks to the same length and tie into bunches.
  2. 2 Place asparagus in a pot of boiling water. Add a little salt when nearly done.
  3. 3 Boil until perfectly tender. Drain and transfer to a serving dish.
  4. 4 Remove any tough strings from the stalks. Serve very hot with Hollandaise or cream sauce.
