Boiled Asparagus With Butter
Ingredients
- 200 asparagus spears
- Salt
- Butter
- Vinegar (optional)
Method
- 1 Scrape the roots of the asparagus clean and wash them thoroughly.
- 2 Divide the asparagus into two bundles of 100 spears each, arranging the heads evenly and binding them tightly.
- 3 Boil a large skillet of water with salt, then add the bundles and boil quickly until tender.
- 4 Drain the asparagus and serve with beaten butter and salt, or a mixture of butter and vinegar.
