  • Salt
  • Toast rounds
  • Melted butter

Method

  1. 1 Scrape the white parts of the asparagus stalks clean and place them in cold water.
  2. 2 Tie the stalks into bundles and trim them to the same length.
  3. 3 Place bundles in a saucepan, cover with boiling water, add salt, and boil gently for 20-30 minutes until tender.
  4. 4 Remove asparagus and arrange on toast rounds with points facing the center.
