Boiled Artichokes With Melted Butter
Ingredients
- artichokes
- cold water
- salt
- melted butter
Method
- 1 Soak artichokes in cold water and wash them well.
- 2 Place in plenty of boiling water with a handful of salt.
- 3 Boil gently for 1.5 to 2 hours until tender. Check by pulling out a leaf.
- 4 Trim and drain artichokes on a sieve.
- 5 Serve with melted butter in small cups for dipping.
