Blanch Browned Salted Almonds
Ingredients
- almonds
- oil or butter
- salt
Method
- 1 Blanch almonds in boiling water for a few minutes, then remove skins and dry well.
- 2 Brown the almonds in heated oil or butter on the stove or in the oven until very light brown.
- 3 Remove from heat immediately as they will continue to color. Drain on brown paper and sprinkle with salt.
