Blackberry Bread Pudding With Wine

- baker's bread, crusts removed
- butter
- blackberries
- sugar
- wine
- hard sauce
Method
- 1 Stew blackberries with a little sugar to release their juice.
- 2 Slice the bread thickly and butter it.
- 3 Layer the bread and stewed blackberries in a dish, alternating layers.
- 4 Pour a glass of wine over the top layer.
- 5 Bake until set and serve with hard sauce.
