  • diced cooked potatoes
  • diced boiled beets (one-fourth quantity of potatoes)
  • lettuce leaves
  • French dressing or Mayonnaise
  • anchovies
  • small pickles
  • aspic (optional)

Method

  1. 1 Dice cooked potatoes and boiled beets, using one-fourth the quantity of beets relative to potatoes.
  2. 2 Mix the diced potatoes and beets together in a bowl.
  3. 3 Serve the mixture on a bed of lettuce leaves.
  4. 4 Toss with French dressing or Mayonnaise.
  5. 5 Garnish with anchovies and small pickles, or mold in aspic.
