Beef Pot Pie With Biscuit Crust
Ingredients
- Beef from chuck or round, cut into small pieces
- 1 slice fat pork or bacon
- 1 onion
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Flour for thickening
- Biscuit dough
Method
- 1 Cut beef into small pieces and place in a saucepan. Stew for two hours, well covered.
- 2 Add a slice of fat pork or bacon, an onion, salt, and pepper to taste. Thicken the mixture with flour.
- 3 Line a deep dish with biscuit dough. Pour the beef mixture into the lined dish.
- 4 Cover the top with more biscuit dough. Bake in a quick oven (425°F) until golden.
