Beef Bone Pepper Pot With Dumplings
Ingredients
- beef bones or mutton
- 1 small carrot
- 1 onion
- 3 turnips
- 2 heads of celery
- thyme
- sweet herbs
- flour
- butter
- water
Method
- 1 Make a good stock using beef bones or mutton, carrot, onion, turnips, celery, thyme, and sweet herbs.
- 2 Boil the stock ingredients and strain through a tamis.
- 3 Add flour and butter to the strained stock.
- 4 Mix flour and water into small balls and boil them in the pepper pot.
