Beef And Tomato Stew With Rice

Ingredients

  • cooked beef, diced
  • butter
  • 4 tablespoons tomato catsup
  • 1 onion, chopped and fried
  • 1 green pepper, shredded and fried
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • stock or gravy, as needed
  • boiled rice, for serving

Method

  1. 1 Dice the cold cooked beef and brown it in butter.
  2. 2 Remove from heat. Stir in tomato catsup, fried onion, fried green pepper, salt, and pepper.
  3. 3 Add enough stock or gravy to moisten the mixture.
  4. 4 Heat thoroughly and serve over a border of boiled rice.
