Beef And Tomato Stew With Rice
Ingredients
- cooked beef, diced
- butter
- 4 tablespoons tomato catsup
- 1 onion, chopped and fried
- 1 green pepper, shredded and fried
- salt and black pepper to taste
- stock or gravy, as needed
- boiled rice, for serving
Method
- 1 Dice the cold cooked beef and brown it in butter.
- 2 Remove from heat. Stir in tomato catsup, fried onion, fried green pepper, salt, and pepper.
- 3 Add enough stock or gravy to moisten the mixture.
- 4 Heat thoroughly and serve over a border of boiled rice.
