Beef And Onion Scallops With Mashed Potatoes

  • cold roast beef, minced fine
  • chopped onion
  • pepper
  • salt
  • good gravy
  • potatoes, mashed smooth with cream
  • butter

Method

  1. 1 Mince cold roast beef (fat and lean) very fine and mix with chopped onion, pepper, salt, and a little good gravy.
  2. 2 Fill scallop shells two-thirds full with the beef mixture.
  3. 3 Top with mashed potatoes smoothed with cream and dot with butter.
  4. 4 Bake in a moderate oven (350°F) until browned.
