Beef And Onion Scallops With Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients
- cold roast beef, minced fine
- chopped onion
- pepper
- salt
- good gravy
- potatoes, mashed smooth with cream
- butter
Method
- 1 Mince cold roast beef (fat and lean) very fine and mix with chopped onion, pepper, salt, and a little good gravy.
- 2 Fill scallop shells two-thirds full with the beef mixture.
- 3 Top with mashed potatoes smoothed with cream and dot with butter.
- 4 Bake in a moderate oven (350°F) until browned.
