Barley Water With Citrus
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons Allinson's barley
- 1 quart water
- Juice of 1-2 oranges or lemons
- Sugar to taste
Method
- 1 Mix barley with a little cold water to form a smooth paste.
- 2 Add the paste to 1 quart of water in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
- 3 Pour into a jug and let cool.
- 4 Stir in citrus juice and sugar to taste.
