Banana Strawberry Pineapple Salad With Mayonnaise Dressing
Ingredients
- 2 bananas, sliced lengthwise into quarters
- 1 cup pineapple, cubed
- 1 cup large strawberries, halved or quartered
- ½ cup English walnuts, chopped
- 2 lemons, juiced
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- ½ cup heavy cream, whipped
Method
- 1 Boil the cubed pineapple for a few minutes to tenderize, then drain and let cool.
- 2 In a bowl, combine the sliced bananas, cooled pineapple, strawberries, and walnuts.
- 3 Whisk the lemon juice into the mayonnaise until smooth.
- 4 Gently fold the whipped cream into the lemon mayonnaise dressing.
- 5 Pour the dressing over the fruit mixture and toss gently to coat before serving.
