Banana Lemon Fritters With Powdered Sugar
Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 3 bananas
Method
- 1 Mix and sift the flour, baking powder, powdered sugar, and salt together.
- 2 Force the bananas through a sieve, then add them to the dry ingredients along with the egg, milk, and lemon juice.
- 3 Beat the mixture thoroughly until smooth.
- 4 Drop spoonfuls of the batter into hot fat and fry until golden.
- 5 Drain the fritters and sprinkle with powdered sugar and a few drops of lemon juice.
