Banana Bread

  • 1 large well-ripened banana
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/3 cup fat-free milk
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cups baking powder
  • flour

Method

  1. 1 Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. 2 Peel and mash the banana in a mixing bowl with a fork.
  3. 3 Add eggs, oil, milk, sugar, salt, baking soda, and baking powder; mix well.
  4. 4 Slowly stir in flour and mix for 20 seconds until moistened.
  5. 5 Grease or line a bread pan.
  6. 6 Pour batter into pan and bake for 45 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. 7 Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan.
