Baked Yorkshire Puddings With Drippings

Ingredients

  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 pint milk
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 3 egg whites
  • Drippings for basting

Method

  1. 1 Beat egg yolks until light and thick.
  2. 2 Mix in salt and milk.
  3. 3 Slowly add milk mixture to flour, stirring until smooth.
  4. 4 Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
  5. 5 Pour into hot, well-greased gem pans.
  6. 6 Bake at 425°F for 45 minutes, basting with drippings.
