Baked Yeast Muffins
Ingredients
- 4 cups flour
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp butter
- 1 cake compressed yeast
- 2 cups milk
Method
- 1 Beat egg yolks until very light.
- 2 Dissolve yeast in milk, then stir in butter, flour, and milk mixture.
- 3 Beat egg whites to a stiff froth and fold into batter last.
- 4 Let batter rise until light.
- 5 Pour into well-buttered muffin tins and bake.
