Baked Wheatmeal Custard Pudding
Ingredients
- 4 oz Allinson fine wheatmeal
- 1/2 pint milk
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp powdered cinnamon
- sugar to taste
Method
- 1 Mix the milk and wheatmeal until perfectly smooth.
- 2 Add well-beaten eggs, sugar, and cinnamon; stir to combine.
- 3 Butter individual cups and fill them three-quarters full with the mixture.
- 4 Bake in a moderate oven (350°F) until a knitting needle inserted comes out clean.
- 5 Serve warm with custard or milk sauce.
