  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 7 tablespoons wheat cereal
  • 1 egg, well-beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Grated cheese
  • Butter

Method

  1. 1 Bring water and milk to a boil in a saucepan.
  2. 2 Slowly stir in wheat cereal and cook for 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
  3. 3 Remove from heat and beat in the egg and salt until well mixed.
  4. 4 Pour mixture into a loaf-shaped pan and let it firm up.
