Baked Veal And Pork Loaf
Ingredients
- 3 pounds veal, chopped fine
- 1/2 pound salt pork or fresh pork
- 1 cup powdered crackers
- 1 cup water
- 2 eggs
- 3 teaspoons salt
- 3 teaspoons sage
- 1 teaspoon pepper
Method
- 1 Preheat oven to 400°F (brisk oven).
- 2 Combine chopped veal, pork, powdered crackers, water, eggs, salt, sage, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix thoroughly.
- 3 Shape the mixture into a loaf and place in a baking pan.
- 4 Bake in the preheated oven until the internal temperature reaches 160°F and the loaf is cooked through.
