Baked Vanilla Custard With Ratafia Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 1 quart milk
  • ½ pound sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 6 eggs, beaten
  • Ratafia biscuits, for garnish

Method

  1. 1 Boil milk, then stir in sugar and vanilla. Allow mixture to cool completely.
  2. 2 Beat eggs thoroughly, then whisk into the cooled milk until combined.
  3. 3 Pour into a fireproof dish and cook gently in a low oven until set.
  4. 4 Serve topped with ratafia biscuits.
