Baked Vanilla Custard With Ratafia Biscuits
Ingredients
- 1 quart milk
- ½ pound sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 6 eggs, beaten
- Ratafia biscuits, for garnish
Method
- 1 Boil milk, then stir in sugar and vanilla. Allow mixture to cool completely.
- 2 Beat eggs thoroughly, then whisk into the cooled milk until combined.
- 3 Pour into a fireproof dish and cook gently in a low oven until set.
- 4 Serve topped with ratafia biscuits.
