Baked Turnips With Beef Stock And Butter
Ingredients
- small turnips, peeled and parboiled
- beef stock
- salt
- pepper
- sugar
- butter
Method
- 1 Peel and parboil small turnips, then drain them well.
- 2 Place turnips in a baking pan and add beef stock until it reaches halfway up the turnips.
- 3 Season with salt, pepper, and a sprinkle of sugar, then dot the top with butter.
- 4 Cover the pan and bake until tender, basting occasionally with the stock.
