Baked Tomato Gratin
Ingredients
- 1 lb tomatoes
- 1 pint bread crumbs
- 2 oz butter
- Pepper and salt to taste
Method
- 1 Slice tomatoes and layer them in a pie dish.
- 2 Cover with bread crumbs, pepper, salt, and small pieces of butter.
- 3 Repeat layers until ingredients are used, ending with a top layer of crumbs.
- 4 Bake in a quick oven (400°F) for 20 minutes.
