Baked Tomato Crostini
Ingredients
- small tomatoes
- buttered bread slices
- butter
- salt
- pepper
Method
- 1 Scald and peel the small tomatoes. Cut a slice from the stem end.
- 2 Place the tomatoes cut-side down on slices of buttered bread.
- 3 Arrange on a buttered baking tin, season with salt and pepper, and bake for 30 minutes.
- 4 Serve with cold roast beef.
