  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 1 small can Spanish peppers, finely chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Buttered breadcrumbs for topping

Method

  1. 1 Finely chop the onions and fry them in butter until softened.
  2. 2 Add the can of tomatoes and the finely chopped Spanish peppers to the pan. Cook for five minutes.
  3. 3 Season with salt, then pour the mixture into a baking dish.
  4. 4 Cover the top with buttered breadcrumbs and bake for 45 minutes.
